Terms of use
Last updated: 27 October 2026
These terms apply when you use Memolr, its apps for Android and iOS and the web app at memolr.com. Memolr is provided by TIBRCODE Software Development, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (“we”). By using Memolr you accept these terms. Our privacy policy explains how your data is handled.
1. Who may use Memolr
You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough in your country to accept these terms, or have a parent or guardian accept them for you.
2. Using Memolr
Memolr is free to use. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use it on devices you own or control, under these terms. You may not misuse it: do not try to break into it or its services, copy, modify or resell it, or reach Memolr AI other than through the app, for example with scripts or in bulk.
3. Ours and yours
Memolr, its design, name and logo belong to us and are protected by law. Your events, notes and photos are yours. They are stored on your device, so keeping them safe is in your hands: use the backup in Settings, especially before changing phones. We cannot recover what was lost on a device.
You are responsible for what you put into Memolr and send to its AI features, and you must have the right to do so, for example to use a photo of another person.
4. Memolr AI
- The AI features are optional and work only with your permission.
- They are free within daily limits, which we may change to keep the service fair and running. The service may sometimes be unavailable, and we may change, suspend or stop it, or suspend it for anyone who misuses it.
- Answers are produced by AI and can be wrong. Check dates, places, translations and suggestions before you rely on them. They are not professional advice.
- You may use the answers you receive as you wish, within the law; similar answers may be given to others.
- Do not use the AI features for anything unlawful or harmful, or to infringe the rights of others.
5. Your own AI key
When you use your own key, your use of that service is governed by your agreement with its provider, and any cost it charges is yours.
6. Reminders
We do our best to remind you on time, but delivery depends on your device: notification permissions, battery saving and exact-alarm settings on Android, and on the web, keeping memolr.com open. Do not rely on Memolr as your only reminder for anything critical, such as medicine, legal or payment deadlines.
7. Ads
The Android app shows ads served by Google. We are not responsible for the content of ads or for the sites they lead to.
8. Other services
Memolr relies on services of others, such as Cloudflare, Google, Apple, Vercel and the AI services you choose. Their own terms apply to them.
9. No warranty
Memolr is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties of any kind, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, or for lost data, missed events or reminders, arising from your use of Memolr, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Memolr in the twelve months before the claim and 100 UAE dirhams. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, or your rights as a consumer that cannot be waived.
11. Apps from the App Store or Google Play
If you got Memolr from Apple’s App Store:
- these terms are between you and us, not Apple, and we, not Apple, are responsible for Memolr and its content;
- you may use it on Apple devices you own or control, as the App Store’s Usage Rules allow;
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it;
- if Memolr fails to conform to a warranty that applies, you may notify Apple, which will refund any price you paid for it, and Apple has no other warranty obligation;
- we, not Apple, handle any claims about Memolr, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance and consumer protection claims, and claims that it infringes the intellectual property of others;
- you confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo or designated as supporting terrorism, and are not on a US government list of prohibited or restricted parties;
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
If you got Memolr from Google Play, Google Play’s terms also apply to your download.
12. Changes and ending
We may update Memolr and these terms. We will post the new terms here with their date, and tell you in the app if a change is significant; using Memolr after that means you accept them. You can stop using Memolr at any time by deleting the app or its data.
13. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and the courts of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi have jurisdiction, unless the law of the country where you live gives you protection that cannot be set aside.
14. General
These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Memolr. If a part of them cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a part at once, we do not give up the right to enforce it later. If the Arabic and English versions differ, the Arabic version prevails, as the language of the courts that have jurisdiction.
