Privacy policy

Last updated: 27 October 2026

  • Your events stay on your device. Memolr has no accounts, and no server of ours holds your events.
  • The AI features are optional. Only with your permission, what a feature needs is sent to Memolr AI, our own service on Cloudflare, to produce an answer, and it is not stored.
  • If you use your own AI key, requests go straight from your device to the service you chose.
  • The Android app shows ads from Google. The website has no ads, no analytics and no cookies.
  • We do not sell your personal data.

1. Who we are

Memolr is developed by TIBRCODE Software Development, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (“we”). We are the controller responsible for the processing this policy describes. For anything about your privacy, write to support@tibrcode.com.

This policy covers the Memolr apps for Android and iOS and the web app at memolr.com.

2. What stays on your device

Everything you put into Memolr is stored on your device only:

On the phones this is the app’s private storage; on the web it is your browser’s storage for memolr.com, which the web app needs in order to work. We never receive it.

The app asks the system’s permission before it uses notifications, the calendar, the microphone or the camera, and you can withdraw these permissions at any time in your device’s settings.

3. Memolr AI (optional, with your permission)

When you allow it, the AI features send what they need to Memolr AI, a service we run on Cloudflare’s Workers AI. Cloudflare processes the requests on our behalf, as our service provider.

AI models running on Cloudflare (such as Gemma, Whisper and FLUX) produce the answer, which comes back to your device. We do not store what you send or the answers, and we do not log them. According to Cloudflare’s commitments for Workers AI, Cloudflare does not keep the inputs or outputs once the answer is delivered, and does not use them to train models. Please do not send the AI information you would not want processed, such as health or financial details beyond what the feature needs.

To keep the free service fair, the app registers once with a random identifier. For each identifier we count how many requests each feature used today, to apply the daily limits. This identifier is not linked to your name, email address or device. Your IP address is used briefly to limit how fast requests arrive. Cloudflare keeps technical records of requests, without their content, for a few days to run and protect the service.

You can withdraw your permission at any time in Settings › AI Settings; the app then sends nothing to Memolr AI. Without permission, the app uses its on-device engine where it can, and the other AI features stay off. If what the AI features send ever grows, the app asks for your permission again.

No decision with legal or similarly significant effects on you is made by automated means. The AI only suggests; you decide what to keep.

4. Your own AI key (optional)

You can use your own key for Google Gemini or for an OpenAI-compatible service (OpenAI, Anthropic, Groq, OpenRouter, Mistral, DeepSeek, Together AI, or a server you name). The AI requests then go directly from your device to that service, under its own terms and privacy policy, which you accept with that provider. We never see them.

Your key is stored on your device: in the system’s secure storage on the phones (the iOS Keychain or the Android Keystore), and in your browser’s storage on the web.

The live voice conversation, available with a Gemini key, streams your voice to Google while it is on.

5. Voice and speech

The microphone records only after you tap it, and only until you stop. The recording is sent as described above, to Memolr AI or to your own service. When neither is allowed, the phone’s own speech recognizer is used, which Apple or Google may run on their servers under their policies. Answers read aloud use your device’s voice, on the device.

6. Ads in the Android app

The Android app shows a banner from Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect your device’s advertising ID, IP address and information about the device, and may personalise the ads; Google handles this data under its own responsibility and privacy policy. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in Android’s settings. The iOS app and the website show no ads at present; we will update this policy before that changes.

7. The website

memolr.com is hosted by Vercel, which receives the usual connection details, such as your IP address and browser, to deliver the pages and keeps them briefly for security. The website uses no cookies, analytics or trackers.

8. Why we may process your data

9. Transfers outside your country

Cloudflare, Vercel and Google run their services in many countries, so your data may be processed outside the United Arab Emirates or your own country. These providers process it under their data processing terms, which include recognised safeguards such as the European Union’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

10. How long data is kept

11. Children

Memolr is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.

12. Your rights and choices

Because your events stay on your device, you can see, change, export and delete them yourself at any time. Deleting the app, or clearing memolr.com’s data in your browser, removes everything it stored, except backups you exported and events added to your calendar.

Depending on where you live, for example under the UAE’s Personal Data Protection Law or the EU’s GDPR, you may have the right to be informed, to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent. Write to support@tibrcode.com; we answer within 30 days. We hold no events of yours, and the usage counts of Memolr AI cannot be linked to you. You may also complain to your data protection authority, such as the UAE Data Office or, in the EU, the authority where you live.

13. Security

Connections to Memolr AI use HTTPS and a signed install token. Your own AI key stays in the system’s secure storage on the phones. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we limit what leaves your device to what each feature needs.

14. Changes

We will update this page and its date when this policy changes. If a change concerns what the AI features send, the app asks for your permission again.
